Wazedu: Authorities have given good news to tourists in Telangana. Authorities have allowed the visit to Bogata Falls in Wazedu Mandal of Mulugu district. The visit to Bogata Water Pals was stopped a few days ago due to heavy rains and raging flood waters. Since a week ago, visitors were not allowed to visit the waterfalls due to the danger of getting lost and swept away in the hot water flowing in the waterfall.
Heavy rains in the above Chhattisgarh state have led to heavy flood waters reaching the Bogata Falls in Wajedu mandal of Mulugu district. Heavy rains in Telangana last week have made Telangana Niagara Bogata Falls a treat for nature lovers. Residents of Mulugu district as well as tourists from neighbouring districts queued up at the Bogata Falls to see the water falling from a height of 50 feet. But due to the fast flow of flood waters, visitors were not allowed to visit the falls less than a week ago. Due to the lack of recent rains and reduced water flow, it has been decided to allow visitors to see the Bogata Falls. Officials issued a statement to this effect on Sunday.
Bonoth Chandramouli, Range Officer of Vazedu Forest Department, said that since the rains have stopped and the floods have subsided, visitors are being allowed to visit Bogata Falls. But do not go inside the water and take photos, selfies and videos. Bathing in the water is advised. If the flood flow increases, they will temporarily stop allowing visitors to visit Bogata Falls again.
