The first match between India and South Africa ended yesterday. The Indian team had to face defeat in this match. The South African team won the match by 30 runs and took the lead in the series. Team India captain Shubman Gill got injured in the first Test match against South Africa at Eden Gardens. He suffered a neck injury while batting in the first innings, due to which he could not bat in the second innings.

Gill was admitted to the hospital and has now been discharged. His condition will be checked in a few days and if he remains stable, he will avenge the embarrassing defeat against South Africa in the Eden Gardens Test in Guwahati.

Big update on Shubman Gill’s injury

The next day, Shubhman Gill, who came to bat, started having neck pain after hitting a shot. As a result, he retired hurt after playing just three balls. Gill did not return to bat and it was revealed that he had been admitted to Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital. He was undergoing treatment for his neck and BCCI updated that Gill has suffered an inter-spinal ligament injury. Now news is coming that Gill has been discharged from the hospital. Doctors have advised the Indian Test captain to take rest for two-three days.

Gill is currently in a hotel with the BCCI medical team. The second Test match between India and South Africa is starting from 22nd November in Guwahati. There are still five days left for the match to start and according to reports, Gill will be tested for about two days. If he is fully fit and his neck pain subsides, he will be able to play in the second Test match against South Africa.

Gill is an important part of Team India’s batting line-up and was missed in the second innings of the first Test. India could not chase the target of 124 runs and lost by 30 runs. Now Gill would like to make a comeback and take revenge for the shameful defeat from South Africa.
