Good news for railway passengers! Railways is going to provide special facilities in these two trains | Live Updates, Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains: In the last few years, the Ministry of Railways has worked rapidly on passenger facilities. After the launch of the semi-high speed train Vande Bharat by the Ministry of Railways in the year 2019, travelling long distances has become much easier. Now it takes much less time to cover long distances than before. At present, 54 Vande Bharat trains are being run on different routes across the country. Now the Railways is planning to launch a sleeper Vande Bharat Express train running at a speed of 200 kmph for long distance travel.

Manufactured at Integral Coach Factory, Chennai

The next question is whether the Railways is planning to run high-speed Vande Bharat Sleeper train in place of Shatabdi and Rajdhani Express. Vande Bharat Express is India's first semi-high-speed train and has been manufactured at the Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory (ICF). It is a unit of Indian Railways. This train is fully air-conditioned and equipped with world-class facilities. This train is becoming increasingly popular among passengers. It is clear from this that this semi high speed train will play an important role in the future of Indian Railways.

Rajdhani is one of the best services of railway.

According to a report published in Financial Express, railway officials say that in the coming time, Vande Bharat Express trains will gradually replace Shatabdi Express. It is also expected that after the launch of Sleeper Vande Bharat, it will become an alternative to the existing Rajdhani Express. Currently, Rajdhani Express is considered one of the best services of Indian Railways. Rajdhani connects New Delhi to different states of the country.

It will take time to prepare the Vande Bharat train as per the requirement.

BG Mallya, general manager of Chennai's Integral Coach Factory (ICF), had said in an interview that there are many places where Vande Bharat Express has been started, where its timing is very similar to Shatabdi Express. Pointing to the timing of both the trains, Mallya said that this is a clear indication that the arrival of Vande Bharat can replace Shatabdi trains in the coming time. Mallya had also said that it will take time to build as many Vande Bharat trains as needed. Meanwhile, Shatabdi trains will be run on other routes so that there is no wastage of resources.

For the first time, short-distance Vande Bharat trains are being run with chair cars. Apart from this, the railways is also considering starting 'Vande Bharat Metro' service. It is expected that soon a model of these trains with metro-like coaches will be shown. This will help in estimating how possible it is to run high-speed trains like Vande Bharat in urban transport system as well.
