Railway Stations New Service: Railways has removed a big tension of its passengers. Now payment through QR code has started at the reservation counters of railway stations in cities. In this sequence, QR code devices have been installed at the reservation counters of Jhunjhunu railway station. Payments are also being taken through these. These devices have been installed by the Center for Railway Information System (CRIS). Through these, passengers will be able to make digital payments through UPI.
Till now passengers had to tell their UPI ID. The biggest problem in this was faced by the elderly. They do not remember the UPI ID and many times the booking time in the system software used to expire while searching for the UPI ID. In such a case, the ticket booking process will have to be done again. The passenger will have to tell at the ticket counter that he wants to make online payment. After this, the clerk sitting at the counter will enter the option of online payment in the software.
There will be a different code for each ticket.
Let us tell you that the ticket amount and QR code will be visible on the device. Payment has to be made by scanning it. The passenger's ticket will be printed only after payment is made. A separate code will be generated for each ticket on the QR code device. Along with this, the ticket amount and UTS number will also be printed on the device. This will not cause any problem to the passengers in making the payment. On the other hand, Western Railways has decided to run an unreserved special train between Udhna and Chhapra at special fare. This train will stop at Chalthan, Bardoli, Nandurbar, Amalner, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur City and Ballia stations in both directions.
