Now India has also increased its position in the passport ranking list. According to the ranking of the UK-based Henley Passport Index, India has got 82nd place in this list.
This ranking is based on the data of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). India was ranked 87th in 2022. At the same time, India got 84th position in 2023. Indian passport allows visa-free entry to 58 countries.
Singapore's passport allows visa-free entry to 195 countries
People with a Singapore passport can enter 195 countries visa-free, making the Singapore passport the most powerful passport in the world.
France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Spain are second, with passports allowing visa-free entry to 192 countries and territories.
In third place are Austria, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, South Korea and Sweden. Each has visa-free entry to 191 countries.
Britain, Belgium, Denmark, New Zealand, Norway and Switzerland are ranked fourth.
At the same time, the index has been falling in America for more than a decade.
Apart from this, Australia is at sixth place and America is at eighth place.
Pakistan ranked 100th
If we talk about Pakistan, then Pakistan is ranked 100th in the list of global rankings. Visa-free entry is possible in only 33 countries through Pakistani passport. In 2023, Pakistan's passport was ranked 106th in the world. Also, in 2023, only 32 countries could be traveled to without visa on Pakistani passport, but now 33 countries can be traveled to.
