Entry requirements for visa-exempt countries
Traveling visa-free sounds great, but it's important to be prepared. First, make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Many countries also ask for sufficient funds, a return or onward ticket, and details of your accommodation. Although not always mandatory, travel insurance is a wise option for peace of mind. And, of course, be aware of customs regulations to avoid any surprises.
Global Passport Strength Ranking
The Henley Passport Index uses data from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA) to rank passports. It is based on the number of destinations a passport holder can enter without a visa. Singapore tops the list with visa-free access to 195 countries. European countries such as France, Germany and Spain are right behind it. The United States, which was once at the top, is now in eighth place with access to 186 countries. The United Kingdom, along with several other countries, offers entry to 190 destinations, which puts it in fourth place.
