The Central Bank of the Kingdom announced this on Sunday (June 9, 2024). The Central Bank has launched several services to facilitate the demands and transactions of pilgrims.
According to Maati Mahiti, the central bank said that Haj pilgrims can use ATM cards issued by their country in Saudi Arabia. The bank also specified that the card should be for international use only. The report also said that pilgrims will be able to use their local ATM cards for payment. You can also withdraw cash through MADA. MADA is the national payment system of Saudi Arabia, launched by the Central Bank. International transactions can be done through this payment system.
