Directorate of Education has given strict guidelines to maintain transparency in the admission process:

One mobile number, one form: Only one child can be registered with one mobile number. If duplicate or multiple applications are found in the name of a child, the candidature will be completely canceled even after the lottery is held.

Instant cancellation at wrong address: To get the school of your choice, do not fill fake or wrong residential address in the form. In case of difference between the address filled online and physical verification, seat allotment will be canceled immediately.

Not applicable in minority schools: This process is not applicable to minority private schools.

No change of school allowed: The school allotted through computerized lottery cannot be changed later under any circumstances.
The Directorate of Education has clarified that no private school can ask for admission fees, tuition fees, capitation fees or any kind of donation from the children selected under EWS/DG quota. If any school demands any kind of fee in violation of the rules, it will be charged capitation fee. Penalty up to 10 times will be imposed and action can be taken to cancel its recognition. After the lottery, 29 zonal teams of DoE will thoroughly verify the documents of the selected children.
