Gold medal winner Mayank was honored by Garhwal Mahasabha

Rishikesh, May 29 (HS). At the office of International Garhwal Mahasabha situated on Dehradun Road, the founder president of Mahasabha Dr. Raje Negi honoured the talented player Mayank Kumar Giri of Khadri Shyampur area of ​​Rishikesh by presenting him a flower bouquet and a shawl.

President of the General Assembly, Dr. Raje Negi said that in the recently held Asian Yogasana Championship in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, Rishikesh's promising player Mayank Kumar Giri has increased the pride of the state and the country by winning the top ranker trophy along with three medals (one gold, one silver and one bronze medal).

Medal winner Mayank said that one should not be afraid of difficulties in life and should keep moving forward with full dedication and hard work to achieve one's goal. The player said that participants from seven countries (India, China, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Bhutan and Japan) took part in the competition. About 62 participants from India took part in the competition.

Earlier also Mayank had won gold medal in national competition and international yogasana competition held in Nepal.
