Gold jewelery maker absconds with 73 tola gold, Moga police starts search


Moga: An artisan making gold jewelery in the bullion market absconded with gold worth Rs 50 lakh. The police have registered a case against the absconding person and started searching for him.

Lakhveer Singh, Assistant Superintendent of Police Station City South, said that now Haldar, son of Raj Halder, resident of Prem Nagar, Moga, in the complaint given to the police, said that Abdul Azim Malik, son of Abdul Hakeem Malik, village Rudrani, District Hooghly, Police Station Dhaniakhali, West Bengal, Aabad resident Ahata Badan Singh was given 162 grams of gold for making gold jewelery and a total of 73 tola 4 grams of gold was given from other shopkeepers. But Abdul Azim ran away with his and the shopkeeper's gold, he told that the value of the gold was around Rs 50 lakh. When he came to know about this, he informed the police and on the complaint of the victim Ab Haldar, the police registered a case against Abdul Azim and started searching for him.
