Gold crossed Rs 79,000 and silver crossed Rs 92,000

Ahmedabad, Mumbai: A sharp rise in the prices of gold and silver was seen in the jewelery market of Ahmedabad today and the prices were seen trading at new highs. The news from the world market was fast. Record bullish winds continued in the jewelery markets even today due to increase in domestic import costs due to rising prices in the world market. In the jewelery market of Ahmedabad today, the price of gold increased by Rs 500 per 10 grams to Rs 78800 at 99.50 and Rs 79000 at 99.90. Before Diwali, the price was likely to reach Rs 80 thousand.

Meanwhile, news came that the price of gold in the world market increased from 2654 to 2655 per ounce and the price in the world market increased from 2683 to 2681 to 2682 dollars.

The impact of fear of increasing tensions between China and Taiwan was also seen on global gold prices. Behind gold, global silver prices also rose from $31.19 to $31.20 to $31.94 to $31.92 to $31.93 an ounce.

Meanwhile, platinum prices in the world market ranged from 1003 to 1004 and 996 to 997 dollars from a high of 985 to 986 an ounce. Palladium prices ranged from $1015 to $106, with a high of $1024 to $1025 and a low of $1014 to $1015. Global copper prices were trading 0.89 per cent higher today. Meanwhile, a bearish trend was seen in crude oil prices in the global market today.

Brent crude prices ranged from a low of 74.61 to $73.70 and a high of $74.93 to $74.45, while US crude prices ranged from a low of 70.88 to $70.06 and a high of $71.31 to $70.83.

Meanwhile, gold prices rose to Rs 76,246 from Rs 75,626 at Rs 99.50 in Mumbai bullion market today, while gold prices without GST rose to Rs 76,553 from Rs 75,930 at Rs 99.90. Whereas in Mumbai the price of silver was Rs 89800 and without GST it was Rs 91512.

Gold and silver prices in Mumbai were 3 percent more than this price including GST. Meanwhile, the rupee gained against the dollar in the Mumbai currency market today. The price of dollar fell by Rs 84.04 to Rs 83.98 to Rs 83.99.

The news came that the dollar index in the world market fell from 103.17 to 103.25. Pound fell by 60 paise while Euro fell by 19 paise in Mumbai market today.
