Global experts will give lecture on 'Magnetism and Spintronics' at IIT Kanpur

Kanpur, 15 October (Hindustan Reporter). IIT Kanpur is going to organize a three-day international workshop to introduce researchers to the cutting-edge research in the field of magnetism and spintronics. This workshop will start from December 2 and will run till December 4 where renowned global experts will give lectures and tutorials on the progress in this field. To participate in the workshop, participants have to submit abstracts by October 20 to apply.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is going to host a three-day international workshop titled 'School on Magnetism and Spintronics 2024' from 2 to 4 December 2024 in collaboration with the Department of Physics, Magnetic Society of India (MSI), Kanpur. This prestigious event will bring together renowned global experts to deliver lectures and tutorials on cutting-edge research and advancements in the field of magnetism and spintronics. This workshop aims to benefit early career researchers and will include a variety of interactive sessions, discussions and practical activities. It aims to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of both the basic concepts and the latest developments in the rapidly growing field of spintronics and magnetism.
