College Scandal Latest News: A very shocking incident has come to light in Gudlavaleru College of Engineering located in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. A hidden camera has been found in the toilet of a girls hostel here. After some videos made from this camera went viral among the students, the students have now started protesting.
After coming to know about the hidden camera, the students also lodged a complaint with the police, after which the police have detained the final year student and are questioning him. According to reports, the camera was found by a student inside the toilet of the college hostel, after which the students protested on Thursday night (29 August 2024), expressing serious concern about the safety and privacy of the students on campus.
Students demand strict action against the accused:
According to the students, more than 300 videos were allegedly recorded from these hidden cameras and circulated in the boys' hostel. On Thursday night itself, the students started raising slogans demanding strict action against those who posted the videos. Amid the protest, the matter was reported to the police. After receiving the complaint, the police detained a final year student. It is being said that he was involved in installing the cameras. According to officials, the identity of the student has not been released and further investigation is underway.
The college administration denied having cameras:
However, the college administration claimed that no hidden camera was found in the girls' hostel. They are cooperating with the police investigation. They also promised to take additional security measures on the campus. On the other hand, the police say that they have searched the laptops, mobile phones and other electronic gadgets of the accused in the presence of students and college staff and found no incriminating evidence. Further investigation is underway. However, such allegations are being made by the college girls. However, no official announcement has been made in this regard.
