Girls students of Bal Vidya Mandir did educational tour of Buddhist monastery

Nainital, 06 April (HS). On Saturday, the students of Mohanlal Shah Bal Vidya Mandir of the city took an educational tour of the Buddhist monastery located at Sukh Niwas in the city. During this, the abbot informed the students about many facts related to Buddhism and their religious guru Dalai Lama.

The abbot of the Buddhist monastery told the students about the illegal occupation of Tibet by China and the assistance being given to Tibet by the Indian government. During this, the students also prayed for the independence of Tibet. Principal Anupama Sah described this educational tour as an important part of the school curriculum.

Students like Ritika, Khyati, Palak, Jyoti, Diya and Alia and their teachers also participated in this excursion program.
