Gorakhpur, 02 September (HS). A competition on the topic of women empowerment was organized in Gangotri Devi Women's College under the aegis of Yayavari Via Bhojpuri. In the competition, participants presented themselves in the costumes of strong women of India.
The chief guest of the program was Arpita Upadhyay, special guests were Gaurav Mani and Sudhir Mishra and Mini Upadhyay. The guests were welcomed by the college principal Dr Poonam Shukla and the vote of thanks was given by the college administrator Ashutosh Mishra. The program was conducted by Dr Seema Srivastava.
Manisha Pandey, Shakeena Sheikh, Shaili Singh, Gauri Gaur, Muskan Sahni, Akanksha Yadav, Anushka Singh, Khushi Tripathi, Kareena Sahni, Aarti Gaur, Prakita Yadav, Anushka Pandey, Meena Vishwakarma, Ruchita Mishra and Monika Yadav participated in the competition.
On this occasion, the Principal of the college, Dr Poonam Shukla said that the Indian woman is a role model in every way and if she is diligent, she can prove her meaningful existence by her strong presence in every sphere of life.
The college's vice principal Dr Priyanka Tripathi, Dr Abha Gupta, Dr Sushma Mishra and other teachers had a special contribution in the program.
