Massive protests in Maharashtra: An incident of sexual abuse of two girls has come to light in a famous school in Badlapur, Thane, Maharashtra. There is a lot of protest against this. A large number of people are protesting at Badlapur railway station, due to which train services are affected. In this case, the police have arrested the accused cleaner Akshay Shinde. The school has suspended the accused cleaner and the school has been closed for five days.

10 trains were diverted due to the presence

The case of sexual abuse of a girl child in a school in Badlapur is in the public eye. Due to which so far 10 mail express trains have been diverted to Karjat-Panvel-Thane station. Local trains are running normally between CSMT and Ambarnath. Services from Badlapur to Karjat are closed.

The government formed a SIT to investigate

Considering the sensitivity of the matter, the Maharashtra government has formed an SIT for investigation. During this, the protesters vandalised the school and blocked the railway track.

Police appealed to people to maintain peace

DCP Sudhakar Pathare said, 'The accused was arrested within three and a half hours of the case being registered. The court has also sent him to police custody. Stay calm and cooperate with the police in the investigation. If anyone organises a city bandh or protest, which hinders the investigation, strict action will be taken.'
