Gorakhpur, 20 February (HS). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will give a gift of Rs 1040 crore to Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) on Wednesday (February 21). This will give impetus to the work of a total of 20 projects.
Under this, he will launch Kalesar Residential Township Scheme of GIDA with an estimated income of Rs 650 crore. Apart from this, he will also lay the foundation stone of SD International's unit (Plastic Recycling Plant and Food Packaging Container Unit) with an investment of about Rs 300 crore and lay the foundation stone and inaugurate 18 development projects of GIDA worth Rs 90 crore. This unit of SD International, to be built on 42284 square meters in Gida Sector-13, will provide employment to about seven hundred and fifty people. The development projects of GIDA to be inaugurated include nine works worth more than Rs 35 crore in Industrial Corridor Sector-27 and 28, while the foundation stone of nine works worth more than Rs 54 crore is to be laid in Sector-11 of GIDA. . This program will be held in Kalesar (Gida Sector 13). On the foundation day of GIDA, the Chief Minister had launched Kalesar Commercial Project on 80 acres. Now a residential project will be launched on 120 acres. The residential project will have small, medium and large sized plots. The commercial and residential projects in Kalesar are unmatched in terms of connectivity. It is situated at zero point of Gorakhpur. Its connectivity is with NH-28, Kushinagar Highway and Sonauli Highway. There are also plans to build an interstate bus terminal at Kalesar itself.
