Ghaziabad: Police raid in two hotels, six including three hotel owners arrested

Ghaziabad, 09 November (HS). Vijayanagar police station raided three hotels on Saturday. The police arrested six people, including three hotel owners, and freed three girls from their custody. The special thing is that a hotel was running near the Inter College. A woman is also included among the hotel operators.

ACP Ritesh Tripathi said that on information about prostitution, he along with the police force raided Hotel Stay in Ambedkar Cut near Krishna Inter College and Hotel Dream Empire Ambedkar Nagar. During this time, some couples were found in objectionable condition in the hotel rooms, from whom objectionable items were recovered. It is alleged that the hotel owners were carrying out prostitution by taking money. Some of these boys had brought girls with them. The hotel owner had provided girls to some people. Two more were found in Hotel Stay Inn and a couple in Hotel Dream Empire in objectionable condition. Three hotel owners have been arrested, among them Ajab Singh, Swati Kataria, Mohit.

Three women rescued from the hotel have been handed over to their families. A report is being sent to the District Magistrate to seize the hotels and cancel their licenses. At the same time, necessary legal action is being taken against the hotel operator under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act 1956.
