Aadhaar card is the most important document. Apart from being a proof of citizenship, it is required for everything from opening a bank account to buying land or house. Then a notification was issued to update the details recorded in the Aadhaar card. In which UIDAI provides the facility to update the documents for free. The last date to update the document was June 14 but now the deadline has been extended.
Two months have passed
Once again the deadline for updating the Aadhaar card for free has been extended. Earlier this deadline was 14 June 2024, which has now been extended to 14 September 2024. This means that those who have not yet updated their Aadhaar card will be able to update Aadhaar for free till September 14.
The time had been extended earlier as well
The important thing is that the facility of free update has been provided for Aadhaar cards made more than 10 years ago.
