General Observer held a meeting with RO and other officials

Palamu, April 25 (HS). Voting for Palamu Lok Sabha elections is to be held on May 13. In this sequence, General Observer Remya Mohan held a meeting with nodal officers of various cells on Thursday regarding election related preparations. During this, he took information about total nominations from Palamu Lok Sabha Electoral Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan.

It was told that nominations have been made by a total of 11 candidates. In the meeting, the General Observer took information about the number of people voting through postal ballot, the strong room of postal ballot etc. She also got information about EVM randomization, randomization of polling staff etc. Apart from this, he also observed all the video recordings of the nomination. He stressed upon all concerned to do all the work as per the rules of Model Code of Conduct and as per the manuals given in RO Handbook.
