Ghaziabad, 06 November (HS). There is a huge boom in unallocated property in various schemes of Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA). The rates get increased every time in GDA auction. On Wednesday, a plot of Indirapuram scheme was sold for Rs 12.89 crore in the open auction organized by GDA at Hindi Bhawan located in Lohia Nagar. Other plots and buildings were also taken over by buyers and in one day GDA auctioned property worth Rs 58.11 crore.
GDA Additional Secretary PK Singh said that the plot of Indirapuram scheme, which was auctioned for Rs 12.89 crore, is reserved for a petrol pump. That means a petrol pump will be installed on this plot. He informed that GDA has auctioned three residential plots of Indirapuram scheme for Rs 21.70 crore. The bid for a shop plot in Indirapuram went up to Rs 1.09 crore. Let us inform that GDA had received applications for auction of vacant properties in various schemes from October 4 to November 4 through HDFC Bank.
GDA is going to get an income of Rs 18.15 crore from total 14 residential buildings of Govindpuram Residential Scheme, not only this, the price of one residential plot of Govindpuram Scheme reached Rs 57 lakh, while a plot of Radhakunj Scheme Bridge Vihar fetched Rs 1.44 crore in the auction. Sold for Rs. GDA earned Rs 2.04 crore from a residential plot of Shastri Nagar Yojana and Rs 21 lakh from a shop plot near the UP border.
