Ghaziabad, April 18 (Hindustan Reporter) Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) Vice Chairman Atul Vats on Thursday conducted on-site inspection of GH-9,10,11 and 12 towers of the authority in Koel Enclave, towers of Indraprastha Samajwadi Housing Scheme. During inspection, it was found that the human assets required to be deployed by the contracted firm for maintenance were not employed. No gunman was found guarding any tower.
Apart from this, only 2 semi-skilled guards, whose number should be 6, were found employed. The human resources assigned to provide other facilities like plumbers, lift operators, sanitation workers etc. were also found absent on the spot.
During inspection of Indraprastha scheme, it was found that unnecessary construction material has been dumped in the area of the scheme. There is no proper cleaning system. Some residents present there also informed that the water tanks had not been cleaned for a long time. Security personnel were present in the tower. But which employee or officer in the authority has conducted the previous inspections? No such evidence was available. Even arrangement for CCTV cameras was not found. The Vice President gave instructions to take action against negligent employees and ordered an inquiry into the wrong recommendations on the officers responsible for its maintenance.
