GBC: Youth danced on the songs of Rasika Shekhar, people enjoyed on the second day too

Lucknow, 20 February (HS). The audience enjoyed a devotional band performance by three-Grammy Award winner Ricky Cage and flute recital by Rasika Shekhar on the second day of the Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC 4.0). Ricky Cage and his team from Mumbai worshiped Ganga and Shiva through songs, while Lucknow danced to the tunes of Rasika Shekhar's songs and flute. People also witnessed folk dances like Mayur, Faruvahi, Awadhi, Rai, Bamarsia etc. on many stages set up in the city.

Ricky Cage and his team presented a cultural program organized by the Uttar Pradesh Culture Department in the main hangar of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. The glory of river Ganga was first described in the hymn Devi Sureshwari Bhagwati Gange. After this, come to my country. With Bam Lahari-Om Namah Shivay, reverence was offered at the feet of Lord Shiva. Sudhir Yaduvanshi decorated it with vocals, Ricky Cage on keyboard, Siddharth on guitar, Varija Shri on flute and Pramath Kiran on drums accompanied him.

The magic of Rasika's songs spoke loudly

Bollywood singer Rasika Shekhar performed on the songs Kaun Kehte Bhagwan Aate Nahi – Tum Mere Ke Jaise Bulaate Nahi, Hothon Se Chhu Lo Tum – Mera Geet Amar Kar Do, Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo etc. Rasika also made a place in the hearts of the people of Awadh by playing the flute. Rasika was accompanied by Jigar Shah on drums, Chaitanya on guitar, Archit Shah, Vivian D'Souza and Karna Chitra Deshmukh on keyboards. Sound was by MT Aditya and lights by Deepak Gautam.

On Tuesday, Bunty Rana of Pilibhit and his team attracted everyone's attention by performing Tharu folk dance at gate number two of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. Rajesh Sharma and his team members from Mathura presented Peacock folk dance. Umesh Kannaujiya of Azamgarh and his team introduced people to Dhobia folk dance. Vijay Yadav-Sheetala Prasad Verma of Ayodhya presented Faruvahi folk dance, Prakriti Yadav presented Awadhi folk dance, Rajesh Gaur and Satish Kumar Kaharwa folk dance of Azamgarh presented. Ghazipur's Sulturam Dhobia folk dance, Prayagraj's Preeti Singh and Kriti Srivastava team Dhedhiya folk dance, Jhansi's Nishant Singh Bhadauria and Imran Khan Rai, Mathura's Khajan Singh and Mahipal Singh team along with Bamarsia folk dance won a lot of applause. Lakhan Lal Yadav of Mahoba and Akhilesh Yadav of Banda forced everyone to dance on Diwari-Pyidanda folk dance. Katwaru tribe folk dance of Sonbhadra and Asha Kumari Jhumar folk dance of Sonbhadra, Santosh Singha presented tribal folk dance.
