Hamas and Israel have been at war for more than 10 months. However, both of them are not ready for marriage. During this time, many attempts were made for a ceasefire but all the attempts failed. Now, amid efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza, Hamas has rejected a proposal for a meeting of the Palestinian block with Israel in Qatar. Hamas said that it opposes Israel's new conditions presented by the US for the Gaza ceasefire.
It is worth noting that on 31st July, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Iran's capital Tehran. After which the lesson of war started in the Middle East. At the same time, America has started efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza along with its European friends.
Israel objects to these conditions
According to reports, conditions Israel objects to include keeping Israeli troops inside Gaza on the Egyptian border, veto rights over Palestinian prisoners rather than hostages, and deporting some prisoners rather than sending them to Gaza.
There was no result regarding the ceasefire
Despite two days of discussions between Israel and Hamas over the siege, no consensus could be reached. Meanwhile, the head of Israel's intelligence agency, David Barnea, joined his American and Egyptian counterparts. Now all the parties will meet next week to stop the war.
Two-day mediation talks conclude
Gaza ceasefire mediators said two days of talks have ended. And their goal is to seal a ceasefire agreement at a meeting in Cairo next week. The US, Egypt and Qatar said in a statement that the talks took place in a positive atmosphere. A proposal was presented to both sides and it is expected that work will be done on its implementation in the coming days.
