Bhubaneswar: A major accident has come to light from Cuttack district of Odisha. According to Cuttack Police, more than 30 people, including women and children, were injured when a gate collapsed during a folk theater show organized at Raisunguda in Salepur area on Saturday night.

The accident occurred when people were passing through the iron gate installed at the venue of the show. Suddenly the gate fell causing chaos and many people got hit by it.

A Cuttack Police official said that all the injured were immediately admitted to Salepur Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. After the accident, police and administration reached the spot and handled the situation.
