Lucknow, 30 March (Hindustan Reporter). Workers fed sweets to each other at the state office of Rashtriya Lok Dal in Hazratganj in Lucknow after farmer leader Chaudhary Charan Singh received the Bharat Ratna posthumously in New Delhi. Rashtriya Lok Dal workers came out of the office with boxes of sweets in their hands and distributed sweets among the people.
Party workers congratulated their leader Jayant Chaudhary by garlanding the statue of Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh at the Rashtriya Lok Dal office. On this occasion, spokesperson Anil Dubey presented his views before the workers.
Spokesperson Anil said that Chaudhary Charan Singh has received Bharat Ratna, this is a moment of pride for all of us. This is a historic moment. This honor of 'Bharat Ratna' has been given to the farms and laborers and farmers of India.
The workers gathered at the state office agreed with the sentiments of spokesperson Anil Dubey and also put forward their views. Rashtriya Lok Dal workers paid tribute to Chaudhary Charan Singh and described him as a true soldier of farmers, laborers and farmers and offered flowers on his statue.
