Police and SSB jointly searched all the rooms of the accused from where ganja packed in plastic was kept. Police also said that they arrested Parvati Devi, mother of youth LJP District Vice President Lalit Kumar Paswan and one of her brothers. The arrested accused woman Parvati Devi told the police and SSB that her son had brought ganja and kept it in the house.

In the context of this case, Ghurna police station incharge Sanjay Kumar Yadav said that after medical examination of the accused woman and her younger son, they were sent to judicial custody in Araria.
