Gangster charges to be imposed on the accused of murder of retired bank manager | News India

Moradabad, 28 August (HS). Police will also take action under Gangster Act against the accused involved in the murder of retired bank manager Veer Singh. Mainather police has started preparations for this.

Veer Singh (65), a resident of Mansarovar Colony of Thana Majhola area, retired from the post of Senior Manager from Prathama UP Gramin Bank five years ago. Veer Singh's body was found in Mainather police station area at 2 pm on August 16. The post-mortem report confirmed murder. On Monday, the police disclosed the murder by arresting Manoj Kumar, manager of Prathama UP Gramin Bank, resident of Shahpur Tigri, Majhola, teacher Veerbala Yadav, resident of Buddhi Vihar and car mechanic Anil Kumar Gupta, resident of MDA Double Story, Civil Lines. The three had conspired and killed Veer Singh and threw the body in Mainather. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sandeep Kumar Meena said on Wednesday that gangster action will be taken against the three accused.
