Moradabad, 10 October (HIST). The court of Moradabad's Additional District and Sessions Judge Siyaram Chaurasia on Thursday sentenced the Gangster Act convict to two and a half years' imprisonment. Besides, a fine of Rs 5,000 was also imposed on him.
On March 22, 2021, in Galshaheed police station of the metropolis, the then police station in-charge Kapil Singh had registered a case under the Gangster Act against Raj alias Jabar Singh, resident of Govind Nagar of Katghar police station. This case was heard in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Siyaram Chaurasia. On Thursday, based on the evidence on file, the court found the accused Raj alias Jabar Singh guilty of the Gangster Act and sentenced him to two and a half years of imprisonment. Besides, a fine of Rs 5,000 was also imposed on him.
