Purnia, 28 August (HS). Purnia Sadar MLA Vijay Khemka has said that the Prime Minister Jan Vikas Yojana will bring the Ganga of development to every corner of the country. He said that a meeting of the 15-point program was held in the Collectorate under the Prime Minister Jan Vikas Yojana. In this meeting, important decisions were taken for the development of the district, in which special attention was given to education, sports and basic facilities.
In the meeting, mainly provision has been made for provision of solar system in all the secondary and higher secondary schools of the district, provision of pure drinking water in all the secondary schools including middle schools and higher secondary schools, establishment of at least one stadium in all the blocks, establishment of a playground in all the gram panchayats of the district (the area will be spread over 20 acres. Apart from football, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, regional games will be encouraged in this playground), arrangement of additional class rooms in all the schools without building, fencing of the identified secondary and higher secondary schools of the district, arrangement of additional classrooms in the buildingless madrasas.
Toilets will be constructed in all the schools without toilets in the district, hostel arrangements will be made in some identified schools, and buildings will be constructed in the school premises and in the schools which are completely without buildings. On this occasion, District Officer Kundan Kumar, SP Shri Upendra Nath Verma along with other concerned officers and public representatives were present.
Immediately after this meeting, a meeting of the Vigilance and Monitoring Committee was held under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, in which it was decided that the ST SC cases should be resolved within a week.
