Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has approved the construction of two new underpasses on the Ganga Expressway. These underpasses will be built near Jasmedha and Nevada Ashrafi villages in Prayagraj district.

Actually, these villages were divided into two parts due to the construction of the Ganga Expressway. People crossed the expressway and went to their fields, meeting relatives or other works. They were forced to go around 10 to 12 kilometers, which was wasting all three of their time, money and energy.

Local villagers pleaded with their MLA Guru Prasad Maurya over this serious problem. Taking the problems of the villagers seriously, the MLA raised the issue in front of the government and the officials of UPDA.
