Jodhpur, 06 September (HS). Ganesh Chaturthi festival will be celebrated with great pomp on Saturday. Many other organizations including Shiv Sena have finalized the preparations for Ganesh Chaturthi festival in the city. On this day, special worship and Abhishek along with Prasadi will be organized in the Ganesh temples of the city. Various religious rituals will be performed in Ganesh temples. Along with this, temporary idols will also be installed during Ganesh festival.

The ten-day Ganesh Mahotsav to be organized from Ganesh Chaturthi will begin on Saturday. Preparations have been made at many places in the city to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. This time various organizations have pledged to install clay Ganesh idols. Plaster of Paris and chemical colors will not be used this time as well. These idols will be duly immersed on the day of Anant Chaturdashi. Various religious rituals will be organized in all the Ganesh temples of the city on Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated with great pomp in the historic Ratanada Ganesh temple. Lord Ganesha and Riddhi-Siddhi will be specially decorated in the temple. The temple premises will be attractively illuminated. Aarti will be performed in the temple in the morning. Flag hoisting will take place in the temple premises in the presence of saints. Special arrangements have been made for darshan here. Prasad will be distributed to the devotees throughout the day in the temple premises.

Along with special decoration of Lord Ganesha, the temple will be decorated with seasonal flowers. At Shri Sheetla Mata Kaga Tirth Trust, the grand aarti of Shri Ashtavinayak Ganeshji will be performed at 7.15 pm in the presence of the trust's president Nirmal Kachhwaha, along with all the office bearers and members. Secretary Devesh Kachhwaha said that all preparations for the Ganesh festival have been completed. Office officer Kuldeep Gehlot said that the temple premises have been decorated with lighting. Co-secretary Ajit Singh Chauhan said that after the aarti, prasad will be distributed to everyone. Ganesh Mitra Mandali at Jaloria ka Bas Bheed Bhanjan Balaji Mandir will organize ten programs for ten days from Ganesh Chaturthi to Anant Chaturdashi.

Dheeraj Panwar of the group said that in the ten-day program, Sunderkand Paath, Shiv Byavla, Shri Krishna Mahotsav, Khatushyam Baba's tableau, women's bhajan evening, Annakut Mahotsav, Maha Aarti and on the last day, immersion from the fountain along with the divine tableau of Ganpati would be organized.
