Install the idol in this manner
- On Ganesh Chaturthi, wake up early in the morning and meditate on Lord Ganesha. After this, clean the house and temple thoroughly. Decorate the pavilion to install the idol of Lord Ganesha.
- For this you can use flowers, rangoli and diyas. After this, keep Ganga water, roli, rice, some coins and a mango leaf in the Kalash in the pavilion. – Now place a stool, spread a green cloth on it and install the idol of Lord Ganesha.
- After installing the idol, rinse your mouth three times and then bathe it with panchamrit. After this, light a lamp in front of the idol.
- Also offer clothes, sacred thread, sandalwood, Shami leaves, betel nut, fruits and yellow flowers etc. to Lord Ganesha. Along with this, offer 21 Durva to Lord Ganesha and offer his favorite Prasad like Modak and Laddoo etc. At the end of the puja, all the members together perform the Aarti of Lord Ganesha and distribute the Prasad.
