According to the Hindu calendar, the Chaturthi date of Bhadrava month has started on 06 September 2024 at 03:01 pm. While the Chaturthi date will end on 07 September at 05:37 pm. According to Udaya Tithi, Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on 07 September, Saturday. The auspicious time for worshiping Lord Ganesha on this day will be as follows.

Therefore, white coloured items (considered to be a symbol of moon) like white flowers, clothes, white sacred thread, white sandalwood etc. should not be offered to Lord Ganapati.

While worshiping Lord Ganesha during Ganesh Utsav, keep in mind that do not offer dry or dried fruits to Bappa. Also keep in mind that broken rice should not be used in worship. Along with this, offering Ketaki flower to Lord Ganesha is also not considered auspicious.
