Eight people have died in a horrific road accident on the Indore-Ahmedabad National Highway. Eight people died on the spot in a collision between two vehicles late on Wednesday night, while one person is said to be injured.

Regarding the accident, Madhya Pradesh Police said that a jeep collided with an unknown vehicle near Ghatbilad on Indore-Ahmedabad National Highway. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rupesh Kumar Dwivedi said eight people were confirmed dead in the accident, while another person was injured.

According to the information, this painful road accident happened on Indore Ahmedabad road. In which car number MP 43 BD 1005 collided with a dumper parked on the road. Due to sand scattered at the incident site, it is feared that the dumper is filled with sand. In this accident, 8 people traveling in the car died on the spot. While an old man is injured whose name has been given as Bhogaon Pita Dalsingh. Information has been received that the accident happened when these people were going from Bagh Tanda to Guna.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rupesh Kumar Dwivedi said that after the accident, the driver of the unknown vehicle fled from the spot. Eight bodies have been sent for post-mortem. He said that the road accident is being investigated thoroughly.
