The wait of the youth who want to become teachers in primary and upper primary schools of Uttar Pradesh is now completely over. Uttar Pradesh Examination Regulatory Authority (PNP), Prayagraj has officially released the detailed notification and complete schedule for admission to UP D.El.Ed (formerly BTC) session 2026. According to the released schedule, the online application for this year’s admission process is going to start from June 15. Through this course, eligible candidates will be admitted on the basis of merit to lakhs of seats in various government DIET colleges and private D.El.Ed institutes of the state, due to which huge enthusiasm is being seen among the youth of the state.

To get admission in UP D.El.Ed 2026, it is mandatory for the candidates to have a graduation degree with minimum 50 percent marks from any recognized university. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and other reserved categories will be given 5 percent relaxation in minimum marks as per rules. Applicants minimum age for admission should be between 18 years and maximum age is 35 years. The most special thing about this admission process is that no written test or entrance exam is taken in it. Candidates will be selected on the basis of state level merit list prepared by adding the percentage of marks obtained in their High School (10th), Intermediate (12th) and Graduation.

According to the timeline released by the department, after the application link is activated from June 15, students will be able to fill their form by visiting the official website. State Rank List will be released by NIC immediately after the last date of application and fee submission dates. After this, online counseling will be organized in different stages, in which candidates will be able to choose the colleges of their choice according to their rank. Officials have given strict instructions to the applicants to enter their educational marks and personal information very carefully while filling the form, because if there is any discrepancy in the data, their candidature may be canceled at the time of counselling.
