Frozen bank accounts of Congress reopened, relief from IT Tribunal

Congress has got a big relief from the IT Tribunal. IT Tribunal has directed to remove the freeze from all the accounts of Congress. Congress took this matter to the IT Tribunal. The next hearing of this case will be on Wednesday. Income Tax Department collected Rs. Rs 210 crore has been demanded for recovery. Congress Treasurer Ajay Maken has alleged that this action has been taken deliberately before the elections. This is the money of our ordinary workers. Due to the accounts being frozen, money was neither coming nor going. BJP wants to bring a one-party system in the country. Therefore such action was taken before the elections.

Congress linked accounts get big relief from IT Tribunal

The IT department has got a big relief from the IT Tribunal for the accounts linked to Congress. Party leader Vivek Tankha said that the ban on the Congress account has been lifted till Wednesday. Tankha said that I have just represented the Congress party before the ITAT bench in Delhi. We have said that all the accounts of the Congress Party have been frozen.

Tankha said that we want to discuss on merit basis how tax of Rs 115 crore is being imposed on us. Earlier, senior party leader Ajay Maken had claimed that he was neither able to take the salaries of the employees nor pay the bills. Maken says that along with Congress, the accounts of Youth Congress have also been frozen. Ajay Maken gave this information in a press conference.
