Former US President Donald Trump was attacked during an election rally. Trump was addressing a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday evening when a 25-year-old gunman opened fire on him. However, the bullet passed through Trump's ear and he survived safely.

Trump has now been discharged from the hospital. In his first statement after the deadly attack, Trump said that he is fine and wrote in a social media post that he was shot above his right ear. The bullet injured the ear. However, Secret Service snipers killed the shooter there.

This is not the first time that a former presidential candidate in America has been attacked. Political figures have been assassinated in America before as well.
