Lok Sabha Elections 2024: On one hand, BJP is claiming to win 370 to 400 seats, on the other hand, there is rebellion within BJP itself. Since the announcement of elections, till the completion of six phases of voting, many leaders and workers across the country have rebelled. Apart from this, many scams have come to light, which has worsened the condition of the party. Top BJP leaders had to work very hard to handle the situation. Even in the recent elections, Jayant Sinha neither campaigned nor voted in Hazaribagh seat. On this issue, the party had issued a show cause notice to Jayant Sinha.
Voices of protest in BJP!
Kirori Lal Meena, a prominent tribal leader of Rajasthan and a cabinet-level minister in the state government, has raised questions on the functioning of his own government. Apart from this, BJP's own candidate Indrajit Singh in Gurgaon was not supported by his own party MLAs. According to experts, on one hand, the opposition has made inflation, unemployment and corruption an issue. On the other hand, farmers, Jats and youth are also on the path of agitation on the issue of employment and law.
In Haryana too, MLAs refrained from campaigning
Like Uttar Pradesh and Bengal, Haryana is also in a state of protest and rebellion. Leaders are expressing their displeasure against the BJP high command. The absence of senior BJP leaders and MLAs was clearly visible in the rallies and meetings of BJP candidate and Union Minister Rao Indrajit Singh from Gurugram seat of Haryana. According to sources, when the campaign was going on, MLA Sudhir Singla from Gurugram seat and MLA Sanjay Singh from Sohna seat were also not seen in Rao Indrajit Singh's rally and meeting. Apart from this, many big leaders of Haryana kept distance from these meetings and rallies. This has increased tension in Haryana BJP. This attitude of the MLAs was recorded by BJP Alankaman. It also seems that some major changes or other steps will be taken here in the near future.
Jayant Sinha's son seen in India Alliance rally
The first issue is of Jayant Sinha. It seems that both Jayant Sinha and son Ashir have come out in protest and rebellion. Jayant Sinha stayed away from campaigning in Hazaribagh seat. But he did not even go to vote. In view of this, BJP is in power. According to experts, Jayant Sinha has been winning from Hazaribagh seat for the last two Lok Sabhas. This time BJP did not give him a ticket from here. On the other hand, Jayant Sinha's son Ashir was seen in a rally organized in Hazaribagh itself. This rally was not for BJP but for Bharat Gathbandhan. He was seen on the stage in the rally of Bharat Gathbandhan. Then Congress had claimed that Ashir has joined Congress. At the same time, another BJP leader said that in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the youth are troubled by unemployment and incidents of paper blasts. It will not be surprising if voting is also affected by these. If action is not taken on this issue by the state governments, then there can be a big loss.
There was resentment among the leaders of the Sangh for being sidelined by the BJP
The Sangh leaders have also complained of direct and indirect manipulation by the BJP and its committees. This time, there was resentment among the Sangh and BJP leaders since the announcement of Lok Sabha tickets. Poonam Mahajan, daughter of late veteran BJP leader Pramod Mahajan and who was elected MP from this seat last time, has been given a ticket from Mumbai North Central seat. The Sangh expressed displeasure over the removal of Poonam Mahajan. A senior leader of the Sangh said, 'The Sangh is being gradually sidelined by the BJP. They have turned a blind eye towards the Sangh on the issue of ticket distribution in the Lok Sabha.' At the same time, BJP leaders also expressed displeasure over the big controversy that happened in Karnataka last month. In Karnataka, former PM Deve Gowda's grandson Prajwal Revanna has been accused of sexual harassment, which has caused a lot of controversy, after his video went viral, some BJP leaders are angry inside. Some leaders are cursing the party on this controversy in front of the camera. Some leaders said, 'The top leaders of BJP have been informed about this matter. But they did not take it seriously. There was resentment against Revanna for a long time. But Alkaman was not ready to listen to the issue.
Kirodi Lal Meena exposed the scam of crores
Kirodi Lal Meena, who was a minister in the Rajasthan government, suddenly wrote a letter to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma in the middle of the Lok Sabha election campaign. He said in the letter that a scam of Rs 1146 crore has taken place in the state government. This scam has taken place in the Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation. According to him, the government has suffered a loss of crores of rupees. He also alleged that billions of rupees have been lost from this account so far. He requested the state government to immediately cancel all the agreements in this regard and take action against the officials working in this corporation on the basis of the CAG report.
There are two opinions about this letter bomb blast by Kirodi Lal Meena. Some leaders believe that Kirodi Lal is building a palace to save his chair and remain in office. He is deliberately revealing this scam. That is why he looks clean and no allegations are made against him. At the same time, a party also believes that Kanaiya Lala Meena has been made the candidate on the Disa seat. BJP has handed over the entire responsibility of campaigning to Kirodi Lal Meena. In such a situation, Kirodi Lal has also claimed that if BJP loses in the district, he will resign. In such a situation, he may not be doing this to show weakness to the government or to create controversy.
Along with the leaders, issues like employment, inflation and development are also affecting the BJP
BJP leaders are facing opposition not only from their allies but also from the public. In Punjab and Haryana, BJP leaders and candidates are facing opposition from farmers. The important thing is that in 2019, 10 out of 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana went to the BJP's account, but this time the situation is critical. Looking at the way farmers are protesting, it seems difficult for BJP to get 10 out of 10 marks this time.
Farmers also raised demands and protested on agricultural law and other issues, but there was no response from the BJP's central government. Due to this, farmers have made an aggressive plan to defeat BJP in the Lok Sabha seats of Haryana. The second big and important issue is the issue of Agniveer Yojana. A large number of youth from states like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Himachal join the Indian Army. Agniveer Yojana was started by the government to recruit in the army. There were massive protests in all the states on this issue. The youth called this scheme unfair and demanded its withdrawal.
It is worth noting that in the Lok Sabha manifesto, Congress has promised to cancel the Agniveer scheme if it comes to power. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether the youth will trust the Congress or support the BJP. Other issues are employment, inflation and development. A lot of work should have been done on this issue and it should have been discussed.' BJP leaders have no other issue except Ram temple. They fight elections on Ram temple construction and Hindutva. BJP leaders are demanding development works and their outline from the public, but are unable to tell anything. Because of this, it is not surprising if the educated voters ignore the BJP.
