Lucknow, October 6: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday gave an interview to the people of Uttar Pradesh about the progress of Uttar Pradesh. After 2017, he posted his flight to the state on his social media account ‘X’. Putting the previous government in the dock, the Chief Minister wrote that when the concern is more about the family than the state and more about criminals than investors, then how will the environment be created for future technology?
Previous governments did not utilize the unlimited potential of the state
The Chief Minister wrote that the previous governments did not utilize the unlimited potential of the state, but kept it ‘sick’. The vision given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi of Make in India, Digital India and Self-reliant India, the double engine government has implemented it in Uttar Pradesh by linking it with policy, investment and production.
Development journey reaching from mobile to module and from module to microchip
The Chief Minister said that today, within 9 and a half years, the state has a share in the production of about 60 percent mobile phones and 55 percent electronics components in the country. An HCL-Foxconn chip unit worth Rs 3,706 crore is being built in Jewar, 644 MW data center proposals have come in and there are more than 24,000 startups and 8 unicorns in the state. That means the journey is reaching from mobile to module and from module to microchip.
Before 2017, Saifai Mahotsav was the only cultural upliftment.
The Chief Minister also showed the picture before the year 2017. Said that unlike today’s scenario, earlier there were only announcements, but projects struggled to get off the ground. Because at that time familyism was the only development, Saifai Mahotsav itself became the model of cultural upliftment and mafiaization itself of industrialization.
Uttar Pradesh is laying the foundation for future digital economy
The Chief Minister said that we changed the priority. Emphasis was laid on development of the state instead of development of the family, protection of investors instead of protection of mafia and technology instead of appeasement. As electronics increased, the need for data centers increased and as data increased, today Uttar Pradesh is laying the foundation of the future digital economy from data center to AI city.
Uttar Pradesh is becoming a manufacturer of technology
The Chief Minister said that a target has been set to connect 10 lakh youth with new technology through AI-Pragya. The growing startup ecosystem of the state is also transforming the youth from job seekers to job providers. Uttar Pradesh was once a market for technology, today it is becoming its manufacturer. This journey from assembly to AI is not just a journey of technology but of employment, enterprise and prosperity for our youth.
New flight of ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ is visible
CM said that in this series, today (Tuesday) I will participate in the program organized on completion of 10 years of establishment of HCL Tech in Lucknow. HCL GUVI Emerging Tech Skilling Center will also be inaugurated on this occasion. This is the new flight of ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ with the resolve of ‘Developed India-Developed Uttar Pradesh’.
