Frightened by Putin's threat, NATO member Poland took a U-turn on sending troops to Ukraine

Verso, New Delhi: The Russia-Ukraine war is taking a dangerous turn. The war, now in its third year, has taken millions of lives, caused billions of dollars in damage, and caused millions to flee the country (Ukraine). It can be seen on the TV screen that every major city of Ukraine has been destroyed.

Zelensky probably assumed that Russia would launch such an attack that Western countries, including America, or NATO countries would immediately pounce on Russia. But nothing like this happened. It is true that Ukraine is fighting Russia fiercely with Western weapons and money. But now Ukraine is running out of manpower. Putin, on the other hand, has openly threatened against direct intervention in Ukraine, even threatening with a nuclear bomb. For this reason, NATO countries are scared. Earlier, Poland, which became a member of NATO, had announced to send its army to Ukraine for manpower supply, but fearing the threat of Russia, Poland has taken a U-turn at the last moment. And decided not to send troops to Ukraine.

Poland has said in an official statement, “We have no plans to send troops to Ukraine.” According to experts, Poland has taken this decision after Putin's threat, who has even said that the soldiers who were to be sent to train the Ukrainian army should not be sent there now.
