Bhopal, 18 August (HS). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the ancient Narayan Dham temple in Mahidpur tehsil on Sunday evening and offered prayers. On this occasion, he said that the friendship of Lord Krishna and Sudama is the biggest example in the whole world. The temple of Lord Krishna and Sudama located in Narayana and the surrounding complex should be developed in such a way that people from all over the world come here for darshan.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he is very happy to reach Narayandham today. He said that all the festivals in the state will be celebrated with great pomp and show. Our temples have been the source of our basic strength. Lord Krishna came to Ujjain and acquired education. Wherever his feet touched in the state, the major places there will be developed as pilgrimage sites.
He said that for the development of Narayanadham, senior administrative officers should hold a meeting with the temple committee. All the requirements stated by the Sri Krishna Sudama Swarngiri Utsav Vikas Samiti should be fulfilled. This time Janmashtami will be celebrated with great enthusiasm in the entire state. He instructed the collector that on the occasion of Janmashtami, a performance should be given by the police band in Narayanadham.
Minister-in-charge Gautam Tetwal, MLA Satish Malviya, Anil Jain Kaluhera, former MLA Bahadur Singh Chauhan, Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh, members of Sri Krishna Sudama Swarngiri Utsav Vikas Samiti and eminent citizens were present in the program.
