Fresh controversy broke out on DRS, former English cricketer demanded to change the rules

The issue of DRS has become very heated in the fourth Test match of the series being played between India and England in Ranchi. On which cricket pundits are also giving their respective reactions. Even when Joe Root was out LBW on the third day, many questions were raised on the umpire's call and DRS. The field umpire did not give Joe Root out but later DRS was used by Team India. Root was given out after DRS. Now former England captain Michael Vaughan has also come into DRS controversy and Michael Vaughan has demanded changes in DRS. The former England cricketer believes that at least one ICC official should be present during the match.

Suggested by Michael Vaughan

According to a report, former England captain Michael Vaughan said that the first thing is that I like technology in sports. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't strive for improvement wherever possible. Secondly, I think England have thought about it a lot in this series. Yes, there have been some strange decisions. Ollie Pope has been LBW twice in the first innings of the last two Tests. Similarly, Jack Crowley was also dismissed.

Umpire asked to withdraw the call

Umpire call has now become a big headache for the batsmen. In the Ranchi Test match, many batsmen from both India and England teams were out on the umpire's call. On the third day of Ranchi Test, R Ashwin appealed for LBW against England batsman Joe Root but the field umpire did not give out but later after DRS, the umpire had to change his decision.
