Jammu, June 29 (HS). Ramakrishna Mission Hospital organized a medical camp at Udaywala in Jammu on Saturday. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ashutosh Gupta, Principal, Government Medical College, Jammu. Dr. Gupta highlighted the importance of proactive healthcare measures and appreciated the efforts of all those involved in organizing the camp. Dr. Sudesh Gupta MS Ksharsutra and Dr. Twinkle Gupta MD Kayachikitsa, Associate Professors of Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Akhnoor led the medical team.
A total of 83 patients benefited from the camp who received personalized medical consultation and treatment. The provision of free blood sugar testing enabled early detection and management of diabetes which is a growing concern in the community. In addition, medicines were distributed free of cost to all the patients. Swami Yagnadharananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu highlighted the organization's commitment to the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Deva, Ma Sarada and Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing service to humanity as a form of divine worship.
