Free LPG Cylinder: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has given a big gift to the people of the state on the occasion of Diwali. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that free LPG cylinders will be given to all the beneficiaries registered under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. A target has been set to deliver these cylinders to all the beneficiaries before Diwali, so that all families can celebrate the festival without any financial burden. About 2 crore people will benefit from this scheme.
Common people should immediately link LPG connection with Aadhaar.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officials that the beneficiaries whose LPG connection has not yet been linked to Aadhaar. They will have to link it as soon as possible. So that, they can avail the benefit of free cylinder scheme under Ujjwala scheme. To get the free cylinder, registration of the beneficiary under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is required. Apart from this, it is mandatory to link LPG connection with Aadhaar. Under the Ujjwala scheme, free cylinders will be delivered to the addresses of the beneficiaries. That means common people do not need to worry about cylinders before Diwali.
Launch of Mission Shakti
Along with this, the government has also started the fifth phase of 'Mission Shakti' during Navratri. Under Mission Shakti, special emphasis will be given to the safety and empowerment of women. Under this initiative, awareness programs will also be organized to connect women with self-employment and protect them. This scheme will not only provide financial assistance to the families, but the focus is also on the safety and empowerment of women during festivals.
