Fraud of 67 lakhs in land deal on the basis of fake documents

Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai police have registered an FIR against four accused for allegedly duping a 35-year-old real estate developer of a land deal for Rs 66.75 lakh, an official said on Sunday.

In this conspiracy, the accused had prepared fake documents in the Ulwe area of ​​Navi Mumbai. Apart from this, various agreements, transfer order documents of the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) were also tampered with. An officer of the CBD police station, considering the complaint, said, thus they won the trust of the builder living in Sanpad.

Thus, the gang allegedly swindled Rs 66.75 lakh from him. Based on the developer's complaint, the police have registered a case against four people under cheating and other sections. The case is under investigation.
