On the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case against the fraudsters and started investigation. The police has arrested three cyber fraudsters.

According to the police, on 24 April 2024, a person lodged a complaint in the Cyber ​​Crime West Police Station, Gurugram, saying that he had been cheated of Rs 1 lakh 23 thousand in the name of increasing the credit card limit. A case was registered in the Cyber ​​Crime West Police Station on this complaint. Under the directions of Cyber ​​Crime Assistant Police Commissioner Priyanshu Diwan, Cyber ​​Crime West Police Station Manager Inspector Naveen has arrested 3 accused of cheating with the help of technology.

The accused were identified as Bhardwaj and Aas Mohammad alias Ashu, residents of Sector-91 Faridabad and Lakhan, resident of Sangam Vihar Delhi. During police interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that they used to call people and take their credit card details in the name of increasing their credit card limit and giving loans on it. After this, they used to cheat people and transfer money to their bank accounts. The criminal records of the accused revealed that 8 cases are registered against them in other districts of Haryana.
