Four workers were buried under the soil while digging a well, efforts are on to rescue them

Lohardaga, 23 May (Hindus). Four laborers got buried under mud due to mudslide while digging a well in Chitri Ambatoli of Senha police station area of ​​Lohardaga district on Thursday. Relief and rescue operations have been started to evacuate all the workers.

Police and administration teams have reached the spot. Trainee SP cum station in-charge Vedant Shankar is present with the team on the spot. Soil is being removed with the help of JCB to bring out the people buried in the soil.

It is said that four people are feared to be trapped when the well belonging to MNREGA beneficiary Aslam Ansari collapsed while digging a well near Amba Bari in Chitri Ambatoli under Senha police station area. Those trapped include Aslam Ansari's son Abu Rehan Ansari (35), daughter Shabnam Khatoon (21), Ramzan Ansari alias Bablu Ansari (35) and Bhagat, a resident of Garadih under Caro police station area.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Prasad Krishna Waghmare, SDO Amit Kumar, CO Rakesh Kumar Tiwari, BDO Sangram Murmu reached and JCB machines were called to rescue the people buried in the mud. Rescue work is going on on the instructions of trainee SP cum station in-charge Vedant Shankar. A huge crowd of people has gathered. A large number of people including former MLA Sukhdev Bhagat have arrived and are helping in the rescue work.
