Giridih, 3 August (HS). Due to continuous and intermittent rains in Giridih and its surrounding areas for the last two days, the regional rivers are in spate. The water level of the rivers has increased considerably. Meanwhile, on Saturday, four tractors that had gone to the Barakar river to illegally lift sand got stuck in the middle of the river.
Two of these tractors overturned. Seeing the water level rising, the labourers and drivers somehow managed to get out but all the four tractors are stuck there. The tractor owners are trying to get the vehicles out somehow.
