The forest department conducted a raid on Wednesday morning in the Airport village adjacent to the Valmikinagar forest area of ​​Valmiki Tiger Reserve Forest Division 2 on the basis of secret information and seized four pieces of Sheesham wood from a house. The said action was taken under the leadership of IFS trainee DFO Stalin Fidel Kumar posted in the Gonauli forest area.

Giving information in this context, trainee DFO Stalin Fiddle Kumar said that secret information was received that illegal felling of trees from the forest area in the Airport village is being done to make furniture. Taking this information seriously, a team of forest personnel was formed and a raid was conducted. In which four pieces of Sheesham wood were recovered, which is being investigated. Further action will be taken after investigation. However, the IFS officer refrained from disclosing the name of the forest offender fearing that the investigation would be affected. On this occasion, Ranger Rajkumar Paswan of Valmiki Nagar forest area, forest guard Shashi Ranjan Kumar and many other forest personnel were present.
